  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • whipped cream and chocolate chips (optional)

  • waffle iron
  • two mixing bowls

Mix together the butter, sugar, and vanilla in one bowl.  Next add in the eggs and set this bowl aside.  In the next bowl, mix the dry ingredients. (salt, flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda)  Slowly add the dry mixture to the egg mixture to create the brownie batter.  Add in the milk to help thin it out because it will probably be too thick.

To bake it, you just make it like you would a waffle.  Evenly spread the batter throughout the iron and let it cook for 5-10 minutes, depending on the way your waffle iron works.  Check if it’s done with a toothpick before taking it out.

To finish it off, you can serve with whipped cream, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, ice cream, or anything else you’d like.  Another idea you can try is this same process, but instead of brownie batter, use cake batter.
